The system is a closed unit and it maintains a controlled atmosphere as the test progresses. The system uses a high temperature heater to measure shrinkage rate and shrinkage force. The heater can be programmed to 350C to run the test independently according to the PID logic. (Optional customized high temperature heater up to 450C) The standard load cell is 1000 grams, and the customer can define the force in cN according to the type of yarn to be tested (the force accessory is optional).
